I'm trying to dust off the blog after four months of neglect. Bess and I are thinking we may need to re-brand this as a Slams-only blog. Then again, the Summer Olympics are approaching. Maybe a Golden Slams blog, for this year and subsequent Olympic years? Hmm. So much to ponder, so many reasons to procrastinate.

Anyway ...

If you haven't heard, Roddick lost. In the first round. (sigh)

I've literally just finished filling out my brackets. Nothing like doing that while you're watching 1R matches and trying not to peek at the scrolling match updates. Pathetic! A rough start to the French this year, indeed.
