Sharapova's been at the top of my draw for so many Slams over the years, because I believe in her and in her fight (though not so much the rocky serves we witnessed yet again today). It's been seven long years since Maria gloriously beat Serena for her one and only Wimbledon title. Just look at that determination in her eyes back then; we saw some of that fire again today.
Saturday will be tough against the lefty Kvitova, but I think Maria will prevail and hold the rosewater dish once again. At least I hope so. Hmm, maybe I better say some prayers.
You have definitely believed in Maria when few others did, major after major, bracket after bracket. Happy for her AND for you. Well, and for me, as I also picked her for the final and as the winner. Fingers crossed.
